Last 2 nights commuting been listening to 'On Air' by The Rolling Stones.
Released 3 years ago, but ....all the songs were recorded for BBC radio shows between 1963 and 1965.
18 tracks, 8 songs never released before.
This is what you would hear if you attended a Stones gig in 1964, raw rock, blues, R & B, a bit of rockabilly.
Mick plays a nice harmonica on 2/3 songs.
Song list includes, Come on, Roll over Beethoven,Last Time,You better move on, Satisfaction,Memphis Tennessee,Hi Heel sneakers,Route 66,It's all over now.
Going to be listening to this a few more times in near future.

Robert Cray "Midnight Stroll"
Saw Robert at the "House of the Blues" in Chicago a few years back, it was a quality night with Shemekia Copeland opening for him.

Shemekia, one night in Memphis twenty years ago; Cray at Hammersmith Odeon after the album after Strong Persuader...

If it's blues you're into, try this album from John Lee, the original trance blues master.
It's on Tidal, if you do streaming.

Not seen John Lee Hooker but do have a "best of" album of his in my Blues collection (on CD).
Haven't played it for awhile so may give it an airing this week
