What a standard this year's tournament has been, 103 centuries so far breaking the record with the final still to come.

Not exciting for some though, did anyone notice John Virgos microphone was picking up somebody snoring in the background during the last frame of the Murphy/Wilson match.

I have my own views on this. I see pots going into pockets that would never go in on any snooker table I have ever played on. The pockets on today's pro tables remind me of pool tables. Even the commentators have expressed surprise at some of the pots.
I once played against Don Revie.

Excellent session of snooker this afternoon, I was willing Murphy on, just so the evening session would be a bit more exciting (and last longer), see nothing but a Selby win now.

Thought the 2nd frame this afternoon when Murphy left the difficult black over the middle for Selby to clip in was massive. Could have got within one.

Agree Selby big fav now but nothing a good start for Murphy can't change.

Have enjoyed all the tournament

Enjoy mate, we’ve been a couple of times.

If memory serves correctly, you can see both tables

That is good to know as we are at the end of the tables rather than side of one so not too far from either.
Not bad price either as they had early bird offers.

It was Alex Higgins not Mark Williams that started it ;)

I remember when playing as a lad in the 1950's it was not uncommon for an opponent to break-off like that. I remember doing it myself after going 'in-off' a few times from the standard break.
I once played against Don Revie.
