Don't need to be a fishing fan, cos Bob Mortimer hasn't a clue. But the locations around the UK are stunning and it's a weirdly addictive series.
2 funny old boys having a joke either side of heartwarming chats about their childhoods and recent bad health.

Before you frown at it, take a look - surprisingly calming influence. I watch it when the kids go to bed. Doesn't take any effort, just sit back and smile :)
I haven't the faintest idea about fishing but I agree, it's a lovely series. Gentle and drifting and laugh out loud moments. A bit like the Detectorists, in a way. Beautiful tv. :)

You can watch the whole series if you have Sky. I'm up to episode 5, and it's pretty good.

Yep a good watch. I know it's a bit early and considered a Chrimbo film but am watching The Great Escape, such a classic.

BBC 2 at 9pm, Prince Andrew interview, saw snippets on the news and he didn`t come across to convincing to me.
