If you've not seen him in The Wire, make time to do so because that's an extraordinary piece of TV drama and one of the greatest shows ever made.Davycc wrote:Yeah, first I'd ever saw Idris Elba and loved the show. Agreed. Second only to The Sopranos in my book. Game of Thrones is also up there although a different type of entertainment.rigger wrote:If you've not seen him in The Wire, make time to do so because that's an extraordinary piece of TV drama and one of the greatest shows ever made.Davycc wrote:Yeah, first I'd ever saw Idris Elba and loved the show. Accidentally found In Plain Sight and watched 3 episodes last night. Starring Douglas Henshall ( Shetland) and ex proffesional footballer Martin Compston. It's a true story based on a Scottish serial killer, decent TV.

Slightly off topic and I don't know if it's already been mentioned. But Caroline Hawley, often on Bargain Hunt, is married to and runs an antique business with our old striker John Hawley.
There's light at the end of the tunnel and the future's looking very bright indeed.
