Zak Hardaker wins Man Of Steel - 17 years since a Rhino won the award and only 4 ever so this is a huge result for Hardaker.

Brian MacDermott wins coach of the year - 3rd grand final in last 5 years so thoroughly deserved although the real work may begin next year when Sinfield/Peacock have gone.

Only one thing left to do now, beat Wigan. Did I read somewhere that we've never beaten them in a final of any kind since super league began. Tough tough task ahead.

Not long to go now before the Mighty Wigan Warriors smash the Leeds Rhinos. ;)

To be honest I'm expecting an excellent game of rugby league with the two top sides in Super League battling it out for the Championship.

I expect a hard fought battle with Wigan just about coming on top. (By about 20 points :D )

Apparently that's the best rugby league side in the last 40 years according to the commentator. That's certainly a season to remember. Cracking game, thrills, spills and wonderful skill. Could have gone either way but resilience and the ability to do something a bit special eventually saw Rhinos home.

End of an era. Still shaking.

Just like to wish my sons best mate (David Thompson) good luck.

He will be making his Super League debut tonight for Hull KR against Huddersfield.

Lad spent more time at my house than his own as a kid. Came on holiday with us a few times too.

I know he isn't mine, but I still feel proud of the lad.

Hoping it's a sign that Rhinos are emerging from what was always going to be a difficult transition. Terrific result tonight.
