Gale was non existent, our kicking game was dire and, of course, the whole Hardaker issue didn't help having to shove Eden to full back.

No doubt Leeds were the best team on the night, but overall, and as proven by the table, Cas were the better team.
Players freeze in one off games but winning the league by 10 clear points was magnifiçent.

Castleford team of the season for me although Leeds have been team of the decade and still have the men for the big occasion.

You're not wrong mate, cannot help thinking we had one big chance and blew it big time. We just didn't turn up, which is such a shame after an incredible season.

Leeds have been excellent over the last few years, we hammered them at home this season, they were down and out a number of times during the year but dug deep and go and win the grand final. Excellent for them, not so good for us :(

He's been left out of the England squad.

It's well known what he's done, but yes an 'official statement' is due tomorrow apparently.

Grand Final winners to parade trophy.
Newly crowned 2017 Super League Champions Leeds Rhinos will be at Saturday's Sky Bet Championship fixture with Reading.
Brian McDermott's side picked up their eighth Super League title in 14 seasons, following their 24-6 Grand Final victory over Castleford Tigers last Saturday.

One of the three Scotland players,in the Rugby League World Cup, who were banned for being too drunk to get on the plane, was named as Johnny Walker. You couldn't make it up!
