Without Kraftwerk, modern music would be very different.

Hip hop might not have enjoyed the kind of global influence we see today and dance/house/electronica may not have existed at all.

If you don't know them, please try my mix of some of their best tracks as a way of introducing yourself to their majesty.
If you love them already, simply enjoy ...

I like that song by Avicii, Wake me Up. It's brilliant.
We are Leeds, we have to believe our new players are good enough, encourage and support them and help them grow in to a team to be reckoned with. MoT

 Love the SRV track and the Foo's cover by Shinedown.
I can heartily recommend the mixes that Rigger is doing - an hour or more of good music non-stop, ideal for listening to at work.....

It's Friday night boys and girls, which means the red wine's aflowing, which produces some 'Sweet Emotions'

Last one tonight, from one of the best, but (IMO) most underrated bands of all time!
Cheap Trick - 'Surrender'.
Great tune, my fave!

Something a bit different:

I'm really proud of this - it's the first time I've tried blending classical together and then mixing it with more contemporary stuff.
I think it hangs together pretty well, it's not too long (just over 45mins) and you can have fun trying to remember which movie the theme came from. You'll probably know most of them, but some are trickier than others ...

Finally! Cris Peacock on Alter Ego Records.

I signed a contract with AER- this is my first release. I wanted to the title of the track was connected with Leeds United but they wrote to me: „every title with Leeds in is bad”.
They are from Nottingham and they already know that I’m Leeds United fan but they still don’t know that I know NottinghamWhite. 8-)
Phil...you can find them at Arnold, Laneham Ave... :shh:

I like that, Cris - very European in flavour.
My nephew Mike in Jo'burg is a DJ/producer/remixer and though he's only 22 and still at uni in Cape Town he's played some of the biggest clubs down there and gets regular work reworking tracks from more famous local artists.
He recently signed a deal with a UK firm to get his stuff on to i-Tunes. His industry name is Cadenza:

Could you give it a listen, mate ?
Maybe send him an email as you might be able to help each other out getting your stuff to bigger audiences, yours down there, his up here :D
