F – 6th Competition Stage

So we’ve arrived at the QUARTER-FINALS. Logically this was to have been the big nations here but in today’s world where equality is the name of the word there are a selection of 8 quarterfinal teams that almost none of us would have guessed. For each of these last three rounds there are little novelties.
In the QFs, although 6 points still for a win, there is an extra help for having more more arrive at 4 point guesses - see below. When we arrive to the semifinals and finals scores increase to 10 points per game, and with bonuses too.

So firstly to the quarterfinals - POINTS to be gained ...

EXACT SCORE with correctly named winning team 6 points
RIGHT RESULT and winning goal margin correct (e.g. you say a team wins 3-1 but it finishes 4-2, or 2-0) or a draw 'one goal out' (e.g. you say 1-1 but it is 2-2) 4 points / NEW - or you have the right result and the winning team score the exact amount of goals as you say (e.g. you predict a team wins 3-1 but it finishes 3-0, or 3-2) 4 points

RIGHT RESULT (but winning/draw goal margins out) 3 points

WRONG RESULT but reward for an entry! 1 point
+ Postponed or Abandoned? In this unlikely event the game is void, but you are awarded two points for the inconvenience!

Editing of any of the predictions is allowed up to kick-off time of that match but then are counted as definitive ... but please, it is YOUR responsibility to tell me on the thread or by PM!

It is incredibly close so anything could happen. In the overall lists the first four have a small margin, then it's 35 people separated by just 11 points.
You'll see how in the last three rounds though this is totally going to open out - but which way and for whom I've no idea!!!
