Christmas Music Challenge ?

Using educated guess name the highest chart position each of the following songs got to in the year named (not necessarily the xmas day chart).
Clue all got in the top 4 so answers 1, 2, 3, or 4.

Best attempt seen so far was 14 correct (no googling of course)
Answers on 28th.

Thanks, mate.

I once wrote a 101 question music quiz for my staff team at Tower Records. In the end a few regular customers took it too. 20 minutes to do it, obviously no googling.
The highest score was 31 by a mate who'd been a manager for Our Price.

I might dig it out but I'll need to check it as it could be out of date by now ...

I used the questions on here for a quiz i set for a club i'm member of when we had our Christmas Dinner couple of weeks back (so just a copy & paste job on here).

Many years ago often set a weekly quiz for a local pub and often get asked for various functions.
