Quick true or false quiz, answers Friday.

As usual no googling.

1. Lightning never strikes in the same place twice
2. Humans can distinguish between over a trillion different smells
3. Goldfish only have a memory of three seconds.
4. Your fingernails and hair keep growing after you die
5. Buzz Aldrin was first man to Urinate on the Moon
6. Its illegal in Portugal to drive in Flip Flops
7. In China you cannot use Facebook or YouTube, but you can use Twitter
8. Before European competitions were changed Leeds Utd were the only Club to reach the final of all 3 competitions (European, Fairs, Cup winners)
9. The sun makes up more than 99% of the mass of the solar system
10. Sherlock Holmes never says “Elementry dear Watson” in any of the books

6. Its illegal in Portugal to drive in Flip Flops - True

To keep the brain cells ticking over after that here's three random posers:

1. We're all familiar with the words canine and feline relating to dogs and cats respectively. But which animal does meleagrine classify?

2. Name the ten closest national capitals to Anchorage in Alaska

3. In only two UEFA member nations has a team from the capital city never won its domestic league. Which ones?

2. Hard but I'll guess - Tokyo, Pyongyang, Beijing, Seoul, Ottawa, Reykjavik, Mexico City, Ottawa, Washington, Nuuk (Greenland), Timbuktu.

SW - That's a good effort, but you've got Ottawa twice and under Sporcle rules (where I got the idea from) Greenland is a part of Denmark. So you might want to revise your answer :)
