The final round of results are in and i'm very happy to announce the winner as myself, great battle just pipping VHTM at the death.
Must hold my hands up and say a few scored better than me overall but I got lucky facing everyone on their bad nights.
Got to feel sorry for NW stuck at bottom of the table, was 2nd highest scorer last night but was up against the man who top scored this round in White Knight.

FIX !!
How can I be second bottom with the third highest points tally ??
I think we should scrap the "versus" bit and just make it a straight points accumulation exercise :ugeek:

It's a fair point luck of the draw does come into it as the table proves.rigger wrote:FIX !!

Was just trying something different to other prediction competitions.
Perhaps as you suggest we should just use the accumulation method in future (it'll certainly be easier to administer).

Re: International Matches Prediction League (no2)
Personally I prefer it the way SW has set it up, after all it's not the goals you score that wins a league but the wins/points you get that decide it. There's an extra layer of interest with the pairs competing and it can work for you in one round and catch you in another. I lost to VHTM but would have beaten everyone else except Chillwell White in that round.Selby White wrote:It's a fair point luck of the draw does come into it as the table proves.rigger wrote:FIX !!

Well done SW and keep it up
P.S. couldn't believe England got caught. I had them for a 2 - 0 win and saw the score on 85 minutes and was rubbing my hands !
