Football Gamble - Game 2 - Final Results Added

Post by Selby White »

Following the success of our Gamble Game will be looking to start Game 2 on the weekend 24th/25th March and it will run for 4 weekends (a couple of rounds of midweek matches will be added to make it similar length of game 1). This will allow us to fit in game 3 to take us to the season end.

Apologies for the two week break but I'll be away celebrating a big birthday (not every year you are 21 ;) :shh:  ) so unable to keep spreadsheet up to date if start any earlier.

Have added a couple of rules regards to postponed matches as we are striving to learn and improve all the time :-

Rules -
Each player starts with £100 in their pot.
They can bet as much as they like (from their ever growing or decreasing pot)on nominated matches.
There is no obligation to bet, players can choose to bet on as many matches as they like or not at all.
There will be 4 or 5 matches in each section of games.(posted early in the week).
A full game will consist of 10 rounds.
Bets will be accepted up to 1 hour prior to kick off of each match.
Postponed matches will be null and void with money returned to players pot.
Any disputes "the organiser is always right" :D

Any questions please ask

So hope the vast majority that played last time will return and we are joined by a few new players, the door is open, tell your friends.

Keep eye open for first matches posted here

Just realised the weekend I had for the proposed start is the international break so now planning to start game 2 a few days later with the matches on Good Friday.

Remember now you can bet on day of match so potentially use one days winnings to bet on the following days matches.

Going against my 'Home Team' strategy here...
Fulham A 11/8 - £25
Preston A 7/4 - £25
