Gamble Game - World Cup Special

So who is having a go at our World Cup Special ?
All you need to do is place your first bet before the competition starts on 14th June.

Its open to All forum members.

Rules -
During the Group Stage of the World Cup each player gets £100 to bet of each batch of 6 matches.
Amounts bet can be split or all £100 on one match.
All bets must be placed prior to the first match played in each batch.
There will be 8 batches of six matches.
Any money not used will be lost.

Whatever is won during the Group/Batch stage can be used during the KO matches.
Players can bet as much as they like (from their ever growing or decreasing pot) on any match.
There is no obligation to bet, players can choose to bet on as many matches as they like or not at all.
Bets will be accepted up to 1 hour prior to kick off of each match during this part of the game.
The 90 minute score is what counts.
Any disputes "the organiser is always right" :D

The Person with most money at the end of the game is the winner.

Remember you have £100 to spend how you like on each batch of Matches (but all must be placed prior to first match shown in each batch).


Batch 6 Matches (June 24th/25th)

Japan v Senegal - H3/1 D9/4 A11/10
Poland v Colombia - H5/2 D13/5 A11/10
Saudi Arabia v Egypt - H7/2 D5/2 A5/6
Uruguay v Russia - H7/4 D2/1 A15/8
Iran v Portugal - H5/1 D11/4 A4/6
Spain v Morocco - H4/11 D9/2 A9/1



Batch 7 Matches (June 26th/27th)

Australia v Peru - H9/5 D5/2 A6/4
Denmark v France - H7/2 D13/8 A5/4
Iceland v Croatia - H11/5 D5/2 A11/8
Nigeria v Argentina - H5/1 D7/2 A1/2
South Korea v Germany - H14/1 D6/1 A1/6
Mexico v Sweden - H6/4 D11/5 A2/1

But that's what I love most about the World Cup - I'll watch those games. Every single game.
I absolutely love it :)

Luckily I have a job that will allow me to gorge on the whole tournament without rearranging anything else in my life :)

Count me in.

Maybe I'm being a bit thick, but just to clarify you get the end amount from each of the 8 batches added together to use in the knock-out rounds.
There's light at the end of the tunnel and the future's looking very bright indeed.

Yes that's right so you have a total of £800 to spend (£100 on each batch) which you must use (or lose it). Then prior to knockouts you will receive your Pots (all 8 batches added together) to use during the 32 knock out games where you can bet whatever you like as per our previous games. I'll post odds as we go.
