Only large city I know in Brazil in the Jungle is Manas or Manus (spelling) Remember seeing a feature on it during the world cup. This would work with the Real clue (is there a Real Manus/as/ )

Love Brazil have visited twice & toured for 6 weeks there taking in Rio, Ubatuba, Sao Paolo, The Pantanal & lots of other places. From personal experience here’s my advice for anyone travelling to this fantastic country.

The best exchange rates can be had just inside the arrivals area where the local mafia sit with a mound of notes.
The Pantanal is the Amazonia equivalent of the Serengeti a truly must see area
We wanted to see Flamengo v Fluminese at the Maracana but were told due to the nature of the fixture of the fixture, both teams share the stadium we would be attacked by both sets of fans.
Christ the Redeemer worth visiting if nothing else for the panoramic views over Rio.
Ipenema Beach is incredible
The road into Rio from the airport you travel over a large Favela the stench penetrates any vehicle it really is unpleasant
There are many restaurants that do incredible buffets & at checkout they weigh the plate & this determines the price
I bought 2 pairs of leather shoes in Rio & still have them today
Bel Horizonte is one of the few cities in the world where we never felt safe

Always wanted to visit Manaus but sadly never got round to it
