Weekly Quiz (week 6 results)

Post by Selby White »

Following on from the Quiz league we have just finished the plan is to do a weekly quiz with results each Saturday.
So we will have a Weekly Champion and if you miss a week it doesn't effect the following week as each quiz is a individual competition.

Each week I'll post at least 12 questions (6 multi choice, 1 Either/Or, 1 who am I, 1 Where in the World, 1 name just one, 1 Find the missing & 1 name the year)

All the questions you can have a educated guess even if you don't know the answer.

Its Open to all Forum members.

All we ask in the Spirit of the game you do it without Googling
Its all in fun so why not have a go.
Answers to be PM'd to me by 2pm Saturday's

Winners :-
Week One (25th April) - Mapperley White
Week Two (2nd May) - Mr Russell
Week Three (9th May) - Sniffer
Week Four (16th May) - Mr Russell
Week Five (23rd May) - Frankie
Week Six (30th May) - Tie - Nottingham White/Sniffer/KK White/Mr Russell/Mapperley White

We had 8 forum members giving it a go in our first weekly quiz and it was Mapperley White who topped the standings with 7 correct answers.
For the record the 3 he failed on were No's 2, 4 & 8.
Another Northern soul pushed him all the way with an excellent 6 correct.
Thanks to DavyCC, Mr Russell, Nottingham White, Rigger, Frankie & KK White for having a go maybe next week will be their turn to stand at the top of the hill.

Its so true sometimes you know it but can't think why so talk yourself out of it.
I do that all the time with TV quizzes.

No I was only joking about there being no answers listed in your post :P

Should have got the table tennis one, I used to know it, grrr.

But I definitely guessed a couple right so can't really grumble. Thanks for doing it, it's a nice distraction and a good variation in subjects as well.
