Where am I stood (i'm taking the photo in this case) ?
Clue - Maybe one of our North American members will get this one once they put their Bottle of Bud down.

Clue - Its the junction of a well known English river and a canal.

Where is this well known body of water we came across on a hike ?
Clue - If I was on the other side I would have been on the The Great Glen Way.

The bridge I reckon is in America seen a few that style, but where I'd be guessing.
The Forest pic I've got I'm sure but will leave for others.

Back to the bridge remember going over one on the old route 66 in Kansas but that one looks longer.
Another often appears in movies somewhere near Chicago but again not sure.

The bridge isn't that long, really - I think it's a perspective thing as I levelled out the photo and cropped it a bit so it looks longer than it really is.
It's not on a freeway or anything - just a B-road equivalent, but you're right about it being in America.
