Leeds Champions 1974

Post by LUFC Pamster »

Hey LUFCTALKsters...
I'm new to the forum so this is my first post! I have a kids woolley jumper from 1974 given to me when I was a kid (showing my age!) which has a band of league trophies, 1st Division & 1974 written on it. It also has a band round the top with Leeds Utd on it several times. Mainly blue + yellow & white. I was wondering if anyone else has any obscure memorabilia items similar to this?? I would actually sell the jumper if anyone is interested, as my finances are in a pickle at the minute! (the admin team ok'd me to try & sell it). I'd like to add a picture as it's an interesting item but can't figure out how to do that, so that's my second question. Can anyone help me out with that? Thanks, LUFC Pamster :?:

Ps. I'm quite amused to be now known as Paul Rachubka's understudy. Will I stay as this?

I'm fortunate to remember when we won the league back then, our team was so great, I thought we would be at the top of English and European football forever. Ahhhh to be young and hopeful, now I'm older and ..... Still hopeful.
We are Leeds, we have to believe our new players are good enough, encourage and support them and help them grow in to a team to be reckoned with. MoT

Ah, it's not just me that remembers those days then! We're showing our age unfortunately. Although, I was only about 8 when I was bought that jumper. I'm very jealous that you are Gordon Strachan's chauffeur on this site & I'm Paul Rachubka's understudy lol. And yes...I'm still hopeful too, though I sometimes think why?!

Nice to hear from you Aces.

Ps. Do you happen to know if you can put photos on this forum?
