Hi,
Michael here from rosh ha'ayin Israel.
Im 22 (thats 1993..) and used to be a maccabi tel aviv fan, but the club is going down to the drain... signing most of the players from our bitter rivals hapoel tel aviv (it is like bocca-river hate), very few true players who love and respect the club.
I sort of remember leeds days in the premier league and champions league back in the begining of the centuary
But really start to follow and cheer only in 2007 when we had 15 points deduct.
I got discharged from the army about a year ago after 3 long years of service, and already visit in england watching 4 games in a week.
Sadly couldnt get to ER because of the flight time.
But as it seems i might visit the UK in march or april for a moth or so, doing the 92 and of course ER is top priority!
Anyway its nice to know you all, see the variaty of people here and hear your stories.

Hi everyone I'm another Steve, Wakefield born but have lived in Emley village since 1999. I was born in January 1965 sharing my birthday with our very own Eddie Gray. I worked for Royal Mail for 23 years and sidelined as a DJ and Quiz setter/presenter for many years before finally going self employed full time 8 years ago. Was head DJ at Flares in Leeds, Wakefield and Harrogate for a while and now do many specialist oldies nights as well as weddings and parties. Have also set and taken part in many Pop Quizzes around the UK and helped produce Mike Read's Pop Quiz when it returned on the Red Channel a few years ago. Have a collection of around 100,000 records and CD's which I still add to, I don't like to be caught out on my 'Beat the Jock' night on Fridays. I get to as many games as I can each season, had a season ticket for 20 years but sometimes have to travel to gigs for Saturday nights so can't get to the game. My other passion is Wakefield Trinity and I've watched them home and away all my life too. I enjoy the odd game of golf and pool and generally try and live healthily, I used to play footie 3 or 4 times a week but don't seem to have the time anymore. Love the forum, everyone has been so welcoming and with so many interesting topics to join in on, there's never a dull moment on here.

Cheers Mellor, a passion as a 5 year old inherited from my dad and it just went on from there. Every penny I ever had went on trying to collect every UK hit single. I've literally spent a fortune but it has been worth it.

I'm an album type myself but always feel the 45 is the best way to listen to music, especially on a juke box with beer and good company.

Great stuff Emley and nice village.

Cas lad myself EW, and followed Cas home and away for years. Had a sequence of not missing a game for 11 years at one point and of course been to Wake loads of times.

Season Ticket holder at ER now, and go away too, so don't get down to the Jungle (or whatever it is called these days) any longer.
