Hey all
As most of you have probably noticed by now, we've been busy updating the banners at the top right of the page, removing some of the less popular figures from our past and replacing them with various vintage heroes to keep their names alive and a handful of notable players and managers who somehow slipped through the net first time round.

To this end, I'd like to open a small window of opportunity for you all to nominate anyone you think deserves to be up there with the best ?
Deebo has already asked for both Will Copping and Eric Stephenson (pre-war vintage) and I've also made a Terry Cooper special for Mr Russell as he apparently dreamed about winning the League Cup and then promptly scored the winner in the final !

So, to put it bluntly : any more for any more ??

No, he's in there - it's something along the lines of "Why do we always go to Sheffield for a take-away ?"

I'm wondering if we should do extra ones for famous quotes ??

For example, the barbed wire one about Bremner which we already have, but maybe a Jack Charlton one about his little black book ?

So if you have something like that, or any kind of funky ideas, please share them ..

The black book one isn't his best, plus he didn't really have such a thing but everyone seemed to believe it and he was panned for it

I'm working on some murals so was looking for good quotes, Jack had one about not being given owt in life, you have to work for it.

Christiansen came out with one of my favourites, along the lines of For this team I die.
