Blackpool FC

Post by MG magic »

Hi All.
I would just like to inform all LUfc fans of a petition that has been launched by Blackpool FC.
AS all Leeds fans can understand the problem with dodgy owners over the recent past. BFC are trying to get this sorted due to their own problems at the moment.
As a Leeds United fan living in near Blackpool and having friends that are BFC supporters I feel that any help we could give them would be in the interest of football in general.
I have contacted Rigger for permission to post this link on here and that has been granted.

So.......... come on all LUFC supporters if we can get 80,000 signatures for a club badge i am sure that we can help Blackpool.

The link is https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/213108

Signed and shared on our official Facebook page, too.

If people could use the "Share" button after signing and add it to whatever social media they use, that would be a big help in getting over the line with this one.

And as I stated on it I wont be signing it as FIFA doesnt like goverment intervention in countries FA's.

It will be very difficult to reach 100,000 sigs, but if we can get the EFL to review and amend their governance to make themselves more accountable and receptive to the voice of the 'fans', then that will be a major breakthrough.

Currently, they listen to and side with club owners and fans are seen as an irritation. We all need to show we have a voice and make them listen.
I do appreciate and recognise your point re: government intervention though, but would still encourage you to sign.

The more that sign, the bigger the issue will be highlighted. Our clubs are being shafted and the EFL stand by and watch it happen!!!

The EFL are the 72 clubs and its the owners who vote on the rules.

The fans need to get on each clubs board to try and enforce change from within the club.
