Coaches are a nightmare.
I know it's more than twice as much but the freedom on a train is worth it, IMHO.
It's also less likely to be delayed - the M1 is notoriously slow at the moment - besides being way faster.

Think of it as the difference between a basic Fiat 500 hire car using the same roads as everyone else and a top of the range Mercedes hire car using a secret, direct route with no traffic then it becomes a lot easier to understand why you pay more for the train :)

Hi Mate,

I went over to see my first game earlier in the year. Make sure you do the stadium tour. The guy that runs them, stix is an absolute legend. Was one of the real highlights of my holiday.

Good guy is Stix, it's just a shame that the club sacked a genuine football legend in John McLelland, he did the tours before.

Ah bummer! That is news to me. It was John M who did the tour I took my lad on a few years ago.

I didn't know that either.

Whilst the tour was a sort of walking autobiography of his life at times, it was quite interesting, and he let us have free reign all over the stadium (literally).

Actually thinking of getting the match day tour for Barlow Junior for Xmas, as we did the weekday tour previously.

Sad to hear about John. I really liked my tour led by him a few years ago.
