Leeds in Cowtown

Post by Deleted User 3461 »

Hi all,

I'm originally from Pudsey, but my family and I emigrated to Canada when I was 7, but I've been supporting Leeds since I was born. Through First Division days, through Champion's League, and through League 1. Hopefully we can return to the top flight so I can watch a few more matches on TV, as Championship Football isn't regularly shown over here.

I currently live in Calgary, and just got back from my first visit home since we moved 23 years ago! I was finally able to attend my first match at Elland Road, and stood in the Kop with my Wife and some family. Was a great day out, after such a long time waiting.

Joined this forum after finally getting completely fed up with the other one. It seems like people here know how to spell, and punctuate!

The other Calgary member was indeed Maple White real name Coz. I spent a very enjoyable afternoon with him in Leeds a few years back, absolutely top bloke. The result that night was 6-4 to Preston. One of his last posts was " I must post more "

He was a member of 24/7 now defunct. He came over The Rev Twerp, Mis, Welsh Dragon but there's only me & Mis left now.

I'll sent Coz a email see if he's alright.
