1. You are organising a special function and as guest speaker you can choose any former Leeds United player (still living) as the man. Who would it be ?
Big Jack

2. You are manager of a 5-aside team and Gary Monk has kindly offered you the loan of any 5 players from the current squad, name your team (and why) ?
Green
Berardi
Hernandez
Vieira
Roofe
5-a-side requires a good touch, anticipation and all-round skill. You need an out-and-out defender, two midfielders and a finisher for the best balance - I think this team would match most from the squad.

3. What is your opinion on whether Scotland should be allowed another referendum ?
Absolutely not ... unless the UK can have one too.
I'm convinced the result would be different purely because of the next-day denial of the NHS budget increase alone.

4. What would be your ultimate road trip ?
Having driven across the US twice already and covered a lot of southern Africa, I would actually say across Europe from Portugal to, say, Estonia or maybe up through Scandinavia. Actually, scrub that : do it the other way around :)

5. If you were on Mastermind what would your specialist subject be ?
The Subbuteo Table Football Game

6. You are at the Pub for lunch, which Pub classic meal would you go for ?
Eg, Steak & Ale Pie, Hunters Chicken, Fish & Chips, Scampi & Chips, Gammon, Lasagne, Burger, etc ?

Chicken Caesar salad please !

7. One thing we lack at Leeds is a real derby match, If you could attend and major city derby in world which would it be ?
Orlando Pirates v Kaiser Chiefs. Football in South Africa is pure joy and with much friendlier rivalries than in the northern hemisphere.

8. The music industry seems to lose a lot legends last year been a good example.
Put together your own super group from those no longer with us ?

Singer - Etta James
Lead guitar - Johnny "Guitar" Watson
Bassist - Bernard Edwards (Chic)
Drummer - Clyde Stubblefield (James Brown)
Keyboards - Duke Ellington

9. If you could be any film character who would it be ?
(Bond, Tarzan, Bourne, Indiana Jones, etc)

I'd like the James Stewart role in Hitchock's Rear Window.
One of the greatest movies ever made by arguably the finest director and I'd get to sit on my arse all day with Grace Kelly constantly trying to seduce me :D

10. Ask one question to the person following you on this thread ?
What's your biggest serious regret in life, you know the one thing or time that you think back to and just shake your head about .. ?

Strangely enough I have recently done that for a do in July. I nominated Paul Reaney as he is great entertainment but I would normally have refrained from answering this question as it is too difficult to choose  . It depends what sort of speech you want, the players I still idolise are all very different personalities. Big Jack has been an inspiration for me though.

2. You are manager of a 5-aside team and Garry Monk has kindly offered you the loan of any 5 players from the current squad, name your team (and why) ?

Green, Berardi, Hernandez, Roofe, Taylor. I wouldn't like to meet any of those in an opposing team, Green for obvious reasons, Berardi is quick and sharp, Hernandez tricky, Roofe a good finisher I think and Taylor all round a good player. I am assuming it's head-height rules too :)

3. What is your opinion on whether Scotland should be allowed another referendum ?

Well yes they should but it shouldn't be up to Scotland to dictate when. They did have the same chance not very long ago after all.

4. What would be your ultimate road trip ?

Possibly across Australia or NZ or even something like Route 66 in US though I've been to America a few times.

5. If you were on Mastermind what would your specialist subject be ?

Well if you want to win then you need more than one specialist subject :D Therefore, mine would be Don Revie at Leeds, The Stranglers mark 1, John Charles in Italy, the life of William Heath Robinson, and erm the life of ANS :P

6. You are at the Pub for lunch, which Pub classic meal would you go for ?
Eg, Steak & Ale Pie, Hunters Chicken, Fish & Chips, Scampi & Chips, Gammon, Lasagne, Burger, etc ?

Bangers n mash last time, Ploughman's the time before that.

7. One thing we lack at Leeds is a real derby match, If you could attend any major city derby in world which would it be ?

I love Turin so maybe Juventus v Torino.

8. The music industry seems to lose a lot of legends, last year being a good example.
Put together your own super group from those no longer with us ?
Singer = Freddie
Lead guitar - Jimi
Bassist - Chris Squire (Yes)
Drummer - Keith Moon or John Bonham
Keyboards - Jon Lord

9. If you could be any film character who would it be ?
(Bond, Tarzan, Bourne, Indiana Jones, etc)

Bond or the Invisible Man, for very wrong reasons

You are one of the brightest prospects in the country playing for Leeds. You are with the club you have supported as a boy but you haven't won the league in five seasons. Man Utd are winning everything and you would be sure to decorate your league medal cabinet. Do you do a Steven Stephan :? :D Gerrard and never win the league - or leave?

1. You are organising a special function and as guest speaker you can choose any former Leeds United player (still living) as the man. Who would it be ?
Johnny Giles - great analyst, good sense of humour and a nice guy.

2. You are manager of a 5-aside team and Garry Monk has kindly offered you the loan of any 5 players from the current squad, name your team (and why) ?
Green, Berardi and Bartley (solid but ball players), Hernandez cause he would be wicked in a tight space, Sacko and Roofe for fancy finishing up front - in 5-a-side anyway!

3. What is your opinion on whether Scotland should be allowed another referendum ? Yes, after Brexit, it seems petulant not to give others a choice to leave what they want to leave. I would still agree with ANS, they won't go anyway. When you're talking about economics and the like, it's just not in your soul to go - at any cost. You have to have that passion/madness to do it for it to work in the long term.

4. What would be your ultimate road trip ? West coast of USA or the West coast of South America

5. If you were on Mastermind what would your specialist subject be ? The history of my home village between 1630 and 1730 - it's a long story (actually, it is a long story :D )

6. You are at the Pub for lunch, which Pub classic meal would you go for ?
Eg, Steak & Ale Pie, Hunters Chicken, Fish & Chips, Scampi & Chips, Gammon, Lasagne, Burger, etc ? Fish and chips

7. One thing we lack at Leeds is a real derby match, If you could attend and major city derby in world which would it be ? Barca and Real or Roma and Lazio

8. The music industry seems to lose a lot of legends, last year being a good example.
Put together your own super group from those no longer with us ?
Singer - Freddie Mercury
Lead guitar - Rory Gallagher
Bassist - Phil Lynott
Drummer - Buddy Rich
Keyboards. - Ray Charles
They could sound brutal together of course!

9. If you could be any film character who would it be ?
(Bond, Tarzan, Bourne, Indiana Jones, etc)
Neo (from the first Matrix)

10. Ask one question to the person following you on this thread ?
What era, prior to the 1930's, would you most like to have lived in?

Lee Bowyer's lawyer

Damn it, I should have picked Phil Lynott on bass so he could fill in for Freddie on vocals occasionally!
