Stability at Thorp Arch, it's to be applauded.

No Academy Director any more. Serious cost-cutting been going on. Better paid staff replaced by cheaper staff. We'll have to see how that works out in due course. Hart, Redfearn, Ward, Anderson, Naylor, Bromby no longer there. That's just names off the top of my head - sure there will be more.

Genuinely don't know where to put this, but Massimo and Terry George are hanging out with Russell Crowe today

Surprised no ones picked up on this. Crowes not promoting a movie this time. Maybe it adds some fuel regarding the Aussie billionaire that was supposedly interested in buying us.

Here's a funny thing. Aren't Crosswater the tunnel sponsors who withdrew sponsorship claiming the club was a mess. Seems they're back, bigger and louder. Does this mean the club is now we'll run? I'll take this as good news.

We are delighted to announce @CrosswaterLtd as our new West Stand Sponsor: bit.ly/CrosswaterLUFC #lufc
