Re: Chinese interest
We had a Chinese laundry in Liverpool, 1940's.
I once played against Don Revie.

Re: Chinese interest
I live closer to China than most on this forum
The Chinese own my Aussie Football team and probably own half the country, not that the government would tell us

Owners come and go but Leeds United will be there forever, for the fans - keep Marching on Together.

The ironic thing is I'm a big fan of communism as a theory.
It's just when push comes to shove some are always more equal than others, no matter what form of government you live under ...

Not communism but a couple of references to socialism from Winnie...rigger wrote:The ironic thing is I'm a big fan of communism as a theory.

"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, it's inherent value is the equal sharing of misery."
And a more balence view..... "The inherent Vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing miseriesI"
Good night end of politics!

They're all scum over there and they all walk like they have sh@ themselves . Every now and then I have to work over there , they're so full of themselves I'd love nothing more for them to go bankrupt or relegated for cheating in Ferguson years to conference or a massive points deduction .

Re: Chinese interest
A completely reasonable post by Phil62 (even if I disagreed with it) has brought out some far from reasonable malice, quite alarming really, hating people because of the football club they follow.

I'm wondering whether we should just close this thread altogether ?
