Not on a LOAN deal

If we end up in a penalty shoot out in the playoffs final, then we'll walk it with all the players we've signed rumoured to be close to signing.

Latest rumours circulating to the effect that Glasgow Celtic are considering Charlie Taylor, since he will soon be a free agent, and the question of a tribunal fee will not apply, since the SFA is a separate football association.
Go on, sign for Celtic, leaving Leeds with virtually nowt. Good man, Charlie.

Their left back is about to leave - an excellent prospect who played well against England the other day - so this could just be paper talk.
He'll go to WBA or someone like that, surely ?

He's big odds on (1/6) to join Burnley, Celtic 6/1, both Brighton and West Brom around 8/1.rigger wrote: He'll go to WBA or someone like that, surely ?
When you retire, you switch bosses - from the one that hired you, to the one that married you.

Most likely is paper talk, though it does leave Celtic a fair bit of leeway to up the wages offer substantially, methinks.rigger wrote:Their left back is about to leave - an excellent prospect who played well against England the other day - so this could just be paper talk.

TBH, I'm bored with all the Charlie Taylor rumours, just wish he'd get himself gone, though not as a freebie ........ who needs him when we have Berardi?

Berardi did well but no way can we rely on him to be left-back, you need a left-footed left-back and one who can take people on and put a good cross in.yorkfan wrote:Most likely is paper talk, though it does leave Celtic a fair bit of leeway to up the wages offer substantially, methinks.rigger wrote:Their left back is about to leave - an excellent prospect who played well against England the other day - so this could just be paper talk.

Berardi simply did as his employer asked him to, and performed well in what was not his his natural position, and at least did not indulge in the prima donna behaviour exhibited by Charlie Taylor, when refusing to play.Another Northern Soul wrote:Berardi did well but no way can we rely on him to be left-back, you need a left-footed left-back and one who can take people on and put a good cross in.yorkfan wrote:Most likely is paper talk, though it does leave Celtic a fair bit of leeway to up the wages offer substantially, methinks.rigger wrote:Their left back is about to leave - an excellent prospect who played well against England the other day - so this could just be paper talk.

Sure, we may look towards bringing in a natural left back, but Berardi's stock with the fans is, I imagine, much higher than Charlie boy's.
Get yourself gone son, since wearing the white shirt obviously means so little to you.
