Crystal Palace co-chairman Steve Parish on BBC Radio 5 live: "We've agreed a deal for a striker. They're at the training ground now trying to finish it. He has played in the Premier League but he's not currently at a Premier League side. We're bringing him in on loan. You will know who he is in about an hour's time."

As we have one more loan signing available, I hope we get one from a PL club. Either a holding mid or a left winger for me. I like Coquelin or Bigirimana.

Can anyone remember such a frenetic summer transfer window before for Leeds? I can't!! Amazing activity. MC has done a great job, if only half the players come through we've done well this year!

Phil Hay says Oldham are close to signing Poleon, not sure if on loan or on a permanent.

Mark Hudson has signed for Huddersfield for a nominal fee, would have liked him at ER as him and Bellusci would have made a strong pairing as centre halves.
