Assume this is 'permanent managers' Frankie, otherwise we might need to include Redfearn's 10 from 12 points earlier this season, and also Nigel Gibbs 100% record when McDermott was 'missing' .

Re: Leeds United Manager Statistics.
Suprising one for me mccallister - take away his last 5 games and he's more successful than the don!!!
Re: Leeds United Manager Statistics.
When looking at Don Revie's stats it should be remembered that when he took over as manager, Leeds were third from bottom of the old second division. So a fair chunk of the 38% 'un-success' rate was incurred in the early days when he was sorting things out.
I once played against Don Revie.

Slightly distorted figures because in Revie's day there were only 2 points for a win. So a draw in his time would have given a 50% achievement compared with a 33% today. He's still the best ever though!
We're on our way to....

A lot of factors involved in statistics, what sort of team did they inherit ? what league were we in ? how much money spent ?
However these lists do make interesting reading.

Re: Leeds United Manager Statistics.
He was sacked because of the result v Histon - a game played in a monsoon and won by one goal against the run of play. Makes my blood boil - we were playing good football. Would love to see him back one day.isrodger wrote:Suprising one for me mccallister - take away his last 5 games and he's more successful than the don!!!
Good thread by the way - makes very interesting reading.

......And who was it who was responsible for sacking McAllister and Grayson!!!!??
Its been down hill ever since these two 'true Leeds' guys.

We should then remember to include his record in early 2012, which includes the memorable game at the Ricoh.Barlow Boy wrote:Assume this is 'permanent managers' Frankie, otherwise we might need to include Redfearn's 10 from 12 points earlier this season
