The Cellino thread - The Football League verdict
Re: The Cellino thread - The Football League verdict
If you read Cellino's past them run ins with authorities over footballing matters isn't new, but had probably been advised to take a leave of absence. After all he wants "his" club to do well and its obvious off field matters effect our performance disproportionately
Re: The Cellino thread - The Football League verdict
I heard he called in at ER at half time to pick up a pair of gloves he'd left and it got back to the players and that's why we lost, it effected them so much.Nic wrote:If you read Cellino's past them run ins with authorities over footballing matters isn't new, but had probably been advised to take a leave of absence. We are Leeds, we have to believe our new players are good enough, encourage and support them and help them grow in to a team to be reckoned with. MoT

#lufc Cellino's right to appeal the original ban by arbitration rule K remains unaffected by the extension of his ban until May 3.

FL: You are banned until 10th April
Cellino: Okay, though after the 10th I'm not coming straight back as taking legal action
FL: Wel then, you are banned until 3rd May
Cellino: Still not coming back until legal action resolved

Re: The Cellino thread - The Football League verdict
According to the Telegraph Sport, Cellino's extension to 3rd May is due to 'failing to supply details of his tax evasion trial'.
I once played against Don Revie.

His ban is having no effect on us, in fact since he was banned the teams form has really improved.

Simon Austin article on chat with Cellino:

That could be viewed as having an effect, as our form wasn't great when he was still at the club.Aces wrote:johnh wrote:According to the Telegraph Sport, Cellino's extension to 3rd May is due to 'failing to supply details of his tax evasion trial'.

Re: The Cellino thread - The Football League verdict
The concern is will any legal action have finished by May, if not will Cellino be absent and will new players and contracts be delayed. Looks like Umbers had been told to Steer the ship but not Stoke the fire if he can't do contract negotiations or sign new players
