Where have you heard this mate?

GFH caused us to go into the transfer embargo, I wonder if Cellino has had anything to do with getting us out of it? I doubt it, he never does anything right by us.
The embargo was a consequence of the GFH era accounts. Pretty sure it ends like Scottish Leeds says. Sorting out the backgroud number 2s is probably really difficult and unappreciated. Let's hope we make good use of the transfer market.

Cheers for that mate, we were heading for disaster under GFH. I want brand new shiny owners with stack loads of money to take over from Cellino, but until they do, we are stuck with him and it's things like this, that make some Leeds fans still want him in charge. Well like I say until someone better comes along.
We are Leeds, we have to believe our new players are good enough, encourage and support them and help them grow in to a team to be reckoned with. MoT

“Each club will have the opportunity to have its FFP embargo lifted at the end of the season by demonstrating that it has stayed within the maximum permitted deviation of £6m (£3m operating loss plus £3m shareholder investment) for the 2014/15 season.”

Embargo will be lifted if our losses are within FFP rules.

Sol Bamba - sign on a permanent
Dario Del Fabro - possibly extend his loan for another season
Granddi N'Goyi - possibly extend his loan for another season. At 2m to make it a permanent, he hasn't done enough to justify such a price
Adryan Tavares - let him return to his parent club
Michael Tonge: release
Zan Benedicic - let him return to his parent club. His knees are worse than Demba Ba's and Harry Redknapp's
Edgar Cani - let him return to his parent club
Nicky Ajose - see how he does in pre season, but be willing to listen to offers for another loan, possibly on a permanent if a good offer is made. He's proven himself to be a good acquisition at league 1 level
Brian Montenegro - possibly extend his loan for another season

On a side note, for the transfer list:
Giuseppe Bellusci
Tommaso Bianchi
Souleymane Doukara
Nicky Ajose

To not renew the contract of:
Michael Tonge
Alex Cairns
Zac Thompson

To give a new contract:
Rodolph Austin - 1 year extension
Aidy White - 1 year extension to prove his fitness. He provides good depth
Stuart Taylor - 1 year extension. He's a good experienced backup to have
Sam Byram
Lewis Cook - 20 year contract
Alex Mowatt
Charlie Taylor
Luke Murphy
Chris Dawson
Various youngsters whose contracts expire in two months: Walters, Parkin, Coyle, Denton, Purver, Phillips, Stokes, Skelton, Booker, Grimes, Atkinson

Who I'd like to keep:
Silvestri
S.Taylor

Bamba
Beradi
C.Taylor
Cooper

Byram
Mowatt
Cook
Austin
Murphy
Phillips
Ajose

Sharp
Antenucci
Montenegro
Not sure about Morrison, I think now he's broken his drought he might start to bang em in
I think Benedicic, Adryan, Doukara, Bellusci, Bianchi are all surplus.

I think another quality striker and a experienced defender or two and a good assistant for redders and we could be solid, so long as the off field stuff dosent resurface.
Maybe tinker wi the formation, 3-5-2

--------------------Silvestri
--------Taylor-----Bamba-----Beradi
---------------------Cook
-------------Murphy-----Mowatt
Byram--------------------------------Montenegro
-----------Antenucci--------Sharp

Very much agree with a lot of this Si, only want another look at Ajose before putting him on the transfer list. Other 3 on there only sell if the price is right and not give away

Also think N'goyi with a good pre season behind him can become an excellent anchor in our midfield, match fitness is the key.

Well Watford have a number of Italians, and it worked out Ok for them.
Their matchday squad seems a mixture of British lads and foreign imports.

According to FL manager likes to rotate squad and is not afraid to make changes. maybe we could adopt a similar approach next season.

As for me, while its great that academy players are coming through, if the foreign players are good enough
( e.g. Silvestri, Beradi, antenucci) I'm ok with them in the team.
