Their matchday squad seems a mixture of British lads and foreign imports.

According to FL manager likes to rotate squad and is not afraid to make changes. maybe we could adopt a similar approach next season.

As for me, while its great that academy players are coming through, if the foreign players are good enough
( e.g. Silvestri, Beradi, antenucci) I'm ok with them in the team.
Good post, and let's not forget that Watford have had more managers than us this season.

Squad rotation and the number of Italians are mute points. The key to Watford's success is the number of quality players in their squad. It is easier to rotate because they have players of real quality to come in. Forestieri and Ighalo would walk into our team. They are back up for Deeney and Vydra.

What would Aidy add? Has pace, but isn't a winger, can't cross if I remember correctly. Is he a better left back than what we have?

Good squad man as back up. He has pace, you answered your own question there really :D

Last chance saloon for him, I believe he deserves that chance and recovering fully from injury.

Sadly, I just don't think he's good enough. I think Taylor has overtaken him now and we need a proper winger who can cross, create and score goals, which Aidy doesn't do enough of.
