Welcome in! and agreed. Mabil is a good impact player but his finishing and his footballing brain are his worst enemy. He needs a good few years of A League experience (or the like) before Leeds should come a looking. Much better Aussie talent in the A league than him at this time.West beach white wrote:Hi all, I live in Adelaide and have watched mabil many times. I would describe him as having a similar style to raheem sterling, but like sterling his final ball and finish is below par. Even by A league standards. He was used mainly as an impact sub last season.SiMamu wrote:http://the72.co.uk/27878/leeds-united-r ... youngster/
Would our Aussie fans care to share more on Awer Mabil?
IMO we should be aiming a lot higher.

He doesnt have it and wont ever have it in my opinion. Just another Kofi Danning, all piss and wind with no end result.Mr Russell wrote:Welcome in! and agreed. I think he will need more than 1 or 2 if he is to improve on last season.SiMamu wrote:@Navjord23: Uwe Rösler on tansfers: "We don`t have much to spend, but i`m hoping for 1 or 2 players good players." #lufc

According to the Daily Mirror, Palace are looking to sell Gayle this summer, with Wolves and Bournemouth linked. Probably out of our price range, but he's a player I'd love to have here.

Same here. Lewis Grabban or Cameron Jerome too.SiMamu wrote:According to the Daily Mirror, Palace are looking to sell Gayle this summer, with Wolves and Bournemouth linked. Probably out of our price range, but he's a player I'd love to have here.

Jerome might be doable - we've been linked with him before, and he's older than Grabban or Gayle, who probably wouldn't be feasible. I'd like McCann if we can get him cheap - would be a decent replacement for Austin, with much better technical ability.NikosAGr1985 wrote:Same here.
