Would our Aussie fans care to share more on Awer Mabil?
Hi all, I live in Adelaide and have watched mabil many times. I would describe him as having a similar style to raheem sterling, but like sterling his final ball and finish is below par. Even by A league standards. He was used mainly as an impact sub last season.
IMO we should be aiming a lot higher.

Welcome in! and agreed. Mabil is a good impact player but his finishing and his footballing brain are his worst enemy. He needs a good few years of A League experience (or the like) before Leeds should come a looking. Much better Aussie talent in the A league than him at this time.
Owners come and go but Leeds United will be there forever, for the fans - keep Marching on Together.

He was commentating in Norway for the Boro v Norwich game.

He doesnt have it and wont ever have it in my opinion. Just another Kofi Danning, all piss and wind with no end result.

Not what we need at leeds

I think he will need more than 1 or 2 if he is to improve on last season.

Linked with Wigan midfielder Chris McCann.

According to the Daily Mirror, Palace are looking to sell Gayle this summer, with Wolves and Bournemouth linked. Probably out of our price range, but he's a player I'd love to have here.

Same here. Lewis Grabban or Cameron Jerome too.

Jerome might be doable - we've been linked with him before, and he's older than Grabban or Gayle, who probably wouldn't be feasible. I'd like McCann if we can get him cheap - would be a decent replacement for Austin, with much better technical ability.
