Not sure where Doukara to Forest talk has come from like, that's a new one! #lufc #lufclive

Sources tell me Forest not interested in Doukara, but I'm taking him there anyway tomorrow, Reverse-Odemwingie style. #lufc

Hearing that Bristol City are interested in signing Scott Wootton #LUFC #BCFC

And elsewhere, Jose Pozo has joined Almeria in Liga Adelante on a permanent deal.

A Leeds lead...

Adam Pope

BBC West Yorkshire Sport

Leeds United are expected to complete the signing of Belgian winger Jordan Botaka from Dutch side Excelsior today.

It's understood another as yet unnamed player may be arriving at Elland Road.

Not be mentioned, but Derby now in for Antonio- who would be their third wide man signing wouldn't mind Johnny Russell if they were looking to offload him. Wednesday & Derby will become interesting to watch this season - I suspect one will fail spectacularly

Hoping for today's dealings:
Botaka - pretty much done
Another winger, left footed ideally - Van La Parra? or a young PL player if poss
An experienced CB - someone like Kilgallon would be ideal - not in Blackburn's plans, not too old and knows the club already
If being greedy - maybe a no.10 type on loan to compete with Mowatt - Texeira maybe?

Outs:
Ajose - preferably on a perm
Wootton - If we bring in a CB
Doukara - loan

And of course keeping all the key players. That would be a great day for me.

Sadly Rosler seems to like Wootton & Doukara, maybe by giving them game time he's putting them in the shop window

Deadline day. 6pm the cut off. Jordan Botaka deal is done and due to be announced this morning. #lufc

On Leeds United's radar today - Watford winger Lloyd Dyer. By no means certain but a possibility. #lufc
Phil Hay ‏@PhilHayYEP
Rajiv van La Parra looks 100% off. Buckley very unlikely. Leeds has looked at Jamie Paterson at Forest. #lufc

Nicky Ajose - wanted by Coventry City. #lufclive

Normally I love transfer deadline day, so it's a bizarre feeling knowing that we've already done most of our business, for the first time in years. Given the last bit of deadline day excitement we got was staying up til 5 to midnight to hear that Dom Poleon had been sold, anything happening at all today would be pretty exciting...

Lloyd Dyer's an interesting one - 12 months ago I'd have taken him like a shot, but his game's built on being powerful and pacy, and at 32, even though he's still fairly quick, I'm not confident he's any better than Doukara.

More worryingly...

"Andrew Haigh @AndrewHaigh
#LUFC interested in #NUFC centre-back Mike Williamson, according to @SunSport's man in the North East @dpcoverdale."

I'm hard-pressed to think of a CB with worse anticipation, movement, and general positional play than Williamson, even if he drops a level.

My friends in Newcastle all say he's truly awful .
