Cheers Dave, I wouldn't have so much work if you and Rob stopped writing so many books ;)

I was going to ask you if you still has some print copies left of Fiasco and Deja Vu for sale. Hoping to get those two plus new one off you when I come over in October to save money on postage. My shelves in Melbourne are bulging with Leeds books!

Lets get a good meet up planned this time around, cant wait to meet some new faces as well as the old!!!

Sounds good! I've got a few copies of Fiasco and Deja Vu and should have a stock of the new one by then.

:D, nice try. I think it was the Dundee game, when he spilt pop all over the table if you recall.

Anyway, going to order the book right now from CN. Looking forward to it

the football!

Hope it brings back some great memories despite the football but I surprised myself when I was proof reading in that even on the pitch there were plenty of memorable moments throughout.

This is quite exciting... the first Leeds United related comic book! Listing the LUFCtalk bibliography is http://www.lufctalk.com/resources/leeds ... r-568.html

Albert Johanneson: the First Black Superstar [2015]
Author: Howard Holmes; Archie Birch
Publisher: Football United, Racism Divides
ISBN: not known

Image

"This 24-page comic book is the result of a joint collaboration between Sheffield-based FURD and the District Six Museum in Cape Town, South Africa. FURD and illustrator Archie Birch, from Cape Town, have joined forces to tell Albert’s inspirational, yet sadly poignant story. The project follows on from the success of a previous collaboration, Arthur Wharton, Victorian Sporting Superstar, between Howard and Birch. It’s 50 years since Albert played for Leeds United against Liverpool, becoming the first black player to play in an FA Cup final." -- from the Yorkshire Post.

FURD are asking for a voluntary donation per copy (guide £2) plus £1.50 postage and packing. All donations will go towards the work of the FURD Resources Library. Interested parties can contact Howard at howard@furd.org and include their postal address. Cheques should be made payable to 'Football Unites, Racism Divides'.

The comic book will be available mid-June.
