Great decision if you ask me. Surprised his name wasn't mentioned more in the captaincy discussions. Ticks a lot of boxes.

great decision now thinking of it he wasnt one i had in mind before but yesterdays perforance showed it, also good to see him back to his old self box to box winning tackles and headers looking strong "BEAST"

I'm not a fan of this choice, but I understand that that is an unpopular opinion so I will refrain from getting into it, I am sure he will do an adequate job.

How so mate? is it down to him not been the most voacal or going off a tangent after his injury last season?
