Steve Evans Leaves Leeds United
Bad decision for me.
When you retire, you switch bosses - from the one that hired you, to the one that married you.

Another bad day at Leeds United. Not overly bothered about Evans but it's the manner in which he has gone & who his replacement will be.

Re: Steve Evans Leaves Leeds United
The worst kept secret in Leeds is finally out. Massimo getting in quick before the FL suspend him.
Evans was never my first choice, and to be honest, I was less than impressed when he was given the job. But, once he got going I thought he did a good job and I loved his passion for the club.
Its a shame he was treated the way he was, he did not deserve it one bit and I wish him the very best in his next job, he has certainly only done himself good by his patience and professionalism whilst with us.
I hope his successor is not one of Cellinos usual clowns....

Well at long last the inevitable has been confirmed.
He can hold his head up high in my view.
Wish him luck in his next appointment.

First reaction - are we getting somebody better? But after a few seconds - it doesn't matter - as long as Cellino is owner, they will fail.

Steve Evans & Paul Raynor... Thanks for giving it a go under difficult circumstances, you provided me with a tinge of optimism in these pessimistic times that we currently find at our club. Good luck in finding your next job.
Re: Steve Evans Leaves Leeds United
Cellino has this idea that he is a football genius and continually needs to prove it. He will employ a coach who doesn't appear on any ones radar. He (or her) will be either foreign or if not, then a totally unexpected name. Either way they will be gone before Christmas. A mid-table finish will be a good result next season.
I once played against Don Revie.

Evans just done an interview on SKY Sports, no idea how to put it up on here but, dignified to the end.
