Kemar Roofe on his way to Rangers, according to reports.

Will be interesting to see how he does, if he stays fit.
Everyone (including me) seems to think any half decent striker could bag lots of goals playing for either Glasgow club, let’s see.
Any guesses how many goals he will get next, sorry this season?
Might depend if he plays along side Morelos or as his replacement??

That's potentially huge for Rangers. Roofe is a cut above that league. He'll be banging them in for fun up there.

This might not be the right thread.... but I can’t, for the life of me, understand why Roofe left Leeds in the first place? Was it him or Bielsa / Orta?

As I understand he was running his contract down and could have left for nothing if he stayed last season so the Club cashed in while they could.
Maybe we could have offered him more, can't comment as not sure what was on the table.

Not sure anyone knows for sure but the rumours were that he wanted to be on the same wage as others in the squad and the club didn't meet his demands. Could be nonsense though and might just be that he fancied playing overseas.

Radz and co have said that sales were absolutely required at that time to meet ffp. Small sales would make no difference to the books, hence Clarke, Roofe (and Jansonn with other reasons) were sold for reasonabe amounts.
