What a come down that is. We definitely witnessed the best he had to offer here at Leeds. Warning. If your heads not fully in it? and you are getting paid shed-loads, this could happen.NottinghamWhite wrote:Ross McCormack has signed for Motherwell

Can't think there are many on here who won't have seen it but go into You tube and select 'Welsh greats, John Charles.' Brilliant and nostalgic (for those who saw him live!)
I once played against Don Revie.

Ekuban reported as scoring 2 goals at the weekend and is doing well in Turkey. Should hopefully firm up his potential sale (move was loan with view to permanent) for a few million.
Re: Ex-Player/Manager Watch
It just goes to show he couldn't cope with the pressure of playing for Leeds then. He always got himself into good positions and can score elsewhere, so the potential isn't in doubt.sgt_pooly wrote:Ekuban reported as scoring 2 goals at the weekend and is doing well in Turkey. Oh Gawd! Dave Hockaday is on the local news commenting on the Swindon v Forest Green Rovers match tonight. What a lucid and intelligent bloke he seems.

I've read 1 million is the figure.sgt_pooly wrote:Ekuban reported as scoring 2 goals at the weekend and is doing well in Turkey. Should hopefully firm up his potential sale (move was loan with view to permanent) for a few million.

Crikey! I've only just seen this. I'm glad he managed to get out of his gates in Birmingham.Viduka Hits The Mark wrote:What a come down that is. Some people are blessed with football talent but seemingly can't be a***d to get out of bed at times. That said, I think he did well for us and also we picked up a tidy sum @ £11m when Fulham made us an offer that was too good to turn down. Wonder where the money went?
