Must admit to nearly cheering when he scored that goal. Good for him, took it well too.

I have no problem whatsoever with Chris Wood leaving to chase the money and premier league opportunity. He was at the mid point of his career, in his prime and ready and deserving of his chance in the big time having paid his dues lower down. It's the likes of Lewis Cook, Sam Byram and Charlie Taylor who I take issue with. Badly advised, greedy, whatever you want to call it, they weren't ready or even actually good enough yet, as is being proven by the fact they are not featuring at all for their clubs, and should have waited until they were. Terrible decisions on their part. They were still earning relative fortunes as championship players and would have been better off with a couple more seasons under their belt playing week in, week out before they went for the big pay day.
