Badly advised, greedy, whatever you want to call it, they weren't ready or even actually good enough yet, as is being proven by the fact they are not featuring at all for their clubs, and should have waited until they were. Terrible decisions on their part. They were still earning relative fortunes as championship players and would have been better off with a couple more seasons under their belt playing week in, week out before they went for the big pay day.
