Interesting one - would anyone take Gary Neville? :D

I take it that's a joke.

Are we to read into that that Karanka will follow ?
Orta was being talked about before Monk left, so I don't think the original intention was to get them both. Maybe Karanka will follow, but I hope not.
Given feedback from boro can't say I'm too happy about these appointments. It also seem Orts and Karanka had a fall out, so that may not be nailed on. That said I felt the same about monk. Sort of feel we need a British manager to balence the Latin feel to our management structure. Wouldn't be surprised is pep got it ... now we have a DoF who evidently likes to play manager.

TBH yes I would.

By the throat.

Sorry couldn't help it. Actually think he's ok as a pundit but not for me as a manager.

Can't stand giggs odious man. In terms of Neville he comes across so well. Whilst I didn't like him and he didn't like us he had bollocks... big enough to take this job on. One of the few scum players I really respect.

Let's just not go there, folks, it ain't going to happen. I personally don't even mind Phil that much but I don't want any recent Scummers here, no offence. No mention of Cantona yet, until this obviously, just to stir it up a bit more

Another addition to #lufc's scouting team - Gaby Ruiz (previously with Orta at Boro) now listed as head of European recruitment
