I understand mansford left his position on Wednesday, and the agreement for 100% control is signed however the option for full control kicks in on 1/6/17 and therefore the deal will not be in play until that date, however it is done deal.

When you retire, you switch bosses - from the one that hired you, to the one that married you.

Interesting, not that I think a new stadium is now in the off but presiding over two high profile stadium moves and increased ST sales make you think it's a good appointment.

All sounds promising, a quick manager appointment now & then straight into summer player recruitment :)

We need to sort it out this week, latest next. We will be left behind in squad building.

Orta was being talked about before Monk left, so I don't think the original intention was to get them both. Maybe Karanka will follow, but I hope not.

Given feedback from boro can't say I'm too happy about these appointments. It also seem Orts and Karanka had a fall out, so that may not be nailed on. That said I felt the same about monk. Sort of feel we need a British manager to balence the Latin feel to our management structure. Wouldn't be surprised is pep got it ... now we have a DoF who evidently likes to play manager.

Interesting one - would anyone take Gary Neville?
