Very happy with that. PL, Champions League experience, over 100 games for Ajax and has promotion experience. :thumbup:

Very pleased with that one. Almost suspiciously pleased if I'm honest. Slightly unsure why he was deemed surplus to requirements at Newcastle by the end of the season.

He was on an estimated £35k p/w at Newcastle, so with this being a free transfer I would imagine he has just become our highest paid player.

Completely agree here. It went from rumour to done in about 3 hours. Of course you would imagine that it was a thing privately for much longer, but the fact that it stayed private is a positive for our operations.

Like this signing.

Kept under wraps as well, nice to see the deal not dragged out from the players side of things, always a good sign.
