Yeah, bad call in hindsight. It wasn't such a crushing blow to me when my Danny Hay printed shirt became redundantdangermouse wrote:I hope the club will refund me for the Borthwick-Jackson shirt I bought earlier this season! The printing cost as much as the shirt!

I'm quite into this as well - do we know how attacking-minded de Bock is yet? I'd also go with Ayling over Berardi in the middle. I love Bera as much as anybody else, but that's got penalties written all over it.John Dane wrote:Agree with your formation, but would swop Ayling and Berardi. Ayling played central defender a couple of times last season (with Bartley) and I think he did it very well.rigger wrote:Yeah, I agree. I honestly think that we could do worse than play Berardi as a covering defender in a three behind Pontus and Coops leaving Ayling/Coyle down one flank and De Bock/Denton down another. Still play the two central midfielders and let the three up top do what they want :DominanceUK wrote:Me too, I think the lad has a decent career in front of him. I also rate Lewie Coyle just has highly too.SiMamu wrote:Borthwick-Jackson's return to Man Utd has been confirmed.
With Denton back (and now unable to join another team on loan this season after playing for our U23s a few days ago), I think we're covered at full back now.
That's music to my ears.
I like Denton.

The Cameron Jerome rumours, mainly on twitter, can be put to bed. He’s gone to Derby for £1.5M.

According to Phil Hay, Leeds are quitely confident on this one, despite interest from Cardiff.

Is Forshaw that much better than what we have? I know nothing about him.

Can carry the ball forward, which I do feel we miss currently, for sure .TezzaWazzaBazza wrote:Is Forshaw that much better than what we have? I know nothing about him.

CM has been our weakest position for a number of years.
At the moment we have Vieira managing an injury, Philips close to a suspension, O'Kane out for 3 games and Klich out of form...wouldn't mind seeing Anita there/
Vieira has great potential and Philips could come good, but I don't think any of these players would get games at promotion rivals or hold their own in the Prem. Apologies for the pessimism but that's just how I see it. Unsure why the club tied O'Kane and Klich down to long-term contracts; if they're not Prem quality or saleable assets they will become a liability on the balance sheet.
