Can't see how this move will benefit the 49's it does seem really strange to me. There's no real incentive for them to invest unless of course they believe the foundations of the investment are sound. Looking them up on t'internet they are worth around £2bn so why would they want to invest £10m in a mid table championship club ? Are they simply testing the water for major investment at a later date ?

Phil Hay has said its the investment arm of the group it's what they do. They find worthwhile investment opportunities & invest in them, surely that's a positive ? Wasn't there a previous link with them during Cellinos reign ? After a bit more research we have had a partnership with them since January 2014, so why 4 years on is there this injection of cash ?

Confused of Nottingham

More food for thought. Was last season main focus on getting us back on an even keel, there had to be loads to clear up after Bates, GFH & Cellino off the pitch. Also I'm sure this was all a learning curve for Radz both on & off the pitch.

Perhaps now is the time to invest in getting us back to the Premiership but realises he needs extra finances, thus turning to the 49's. They must be happy that everything off the pitch is in order as they themselves are a very successful franchise, that's a positive right ? I'm taking this as a positive & the 49's see us as a viable investment.

Radrizzani has always been receptive to strong investment ie millions and not half a million like LFU raised for instance.

The link in 2013 I think it was seems to have been 'fake news' before that was invented, Phil Hay says GFH/Haigh spoke with them but SF49ers didn't know anything about it, which also sounds dubious :P

Excellent read. I'm liking the optimism.
