Always difficult to tell with a new boss, isn't it ?
With Bridcutt as captain and Cooper vice captain I do think we need a change in that area. A part of me wants to put Jansson forward for it, but I worry for the number cards we would pick up!
As a few of us have said, I think Berardi should be captain this season but if we sign an out-and-out left back I can't see him playing every week.
I actually want both the existing duo sold, if I'm honest - I don't think either are good enough if we're serious about promotion, or at least not good enough to be anything more than back-ups.

If he stays I actually think Dallas might not be a bad shout as he's another international and we don't have that many around the right age, but again will he be in the team every week ? I'd like to think so this year as he had an injury last season didn't he, after the Euros - where he was excellent for Norn Iron.

But I could also see it going to Pontus - like I said before, I think he'd calm down a bit with that extra responsibility and it could be the making of him.
Like you said, he may just be wound even tighter and pick up more cards :problem:

That's also my starting eleven, but I'd have Alioski on the right and Roofe on the left

Considered that, but as Berardi is right footed, I'd prefer a left footer further forward as a result.

The Captain is also a difficult one to pick assuming we have a change. Out of last years playing squad, who will be regulars this season, i can only see Wood, Ayling, Berardi, Jansson playing on a regular basis. I will go for Jansson as skipper.

Wiedwald

Ayling Pennington Cooper Berardi

Anita Vieira

Saiz

Sacko Wood Alioski

subs Green, Denton, Bridcutt, Hernandez, Dallas, Roofe, Ekuban. (no room for O"Kane, Doukara, Phillips) strong squad we seem to have now. MOT.

If he's fit/staying Green has to start surely?
And I wouldn't have Cooper anywhere near starting XI nor our bench!!
As for captain, not Berardi for me. Am a big fan of his & he would be a starter regularly for me, but he ain't skipper material, imho.
I'd go with Wood, he captain's NZ doesn't he?

Pock - yes agree Wood a good choice.
Might have to take an interest in the Premier League now....

GK - Green
RB - Ayling (c)
LB - Beradi
CM - Anita
CD - Pennington
CD - Cooper
AL - Roofe
CM - Klich
AR - Dallas
AM - Saiz
F - Wood

subs - Wiedwald, Coyle, Bridcutt, Hernandez, Alioski, Vieira, Antonsson.

I've picked Ayling as Captain as i like my captain to be in the back line, as much as like i like Wood i would not make him captain, when Jansson comes back make him the main captain with Ayling Vice Captain (still have that?).
Owners come and go but Leeds United will be there forever, for the fans - keep Marching on Together.

Expect a comment soon that captain is not as important a role as it used to be etc etc? A few sports going this direction.
In other words, TC doesn't yet know who is a guaranteed starter with leadership abilities that he can trust (Pontus, I'm looking at you buddy).
