Who was rude, me? Just for pointing out the negativity and slating of a player just after we'd won a match. Apologies if that's being rude, but there was no need for the thread imo.

You do come across as having an attitude. I've spent many years on forums and you get to know people by the way they type. Who are you to say that this thread should not be here? I'm not trying to start a fight but why can I not ask this question? I don't even know who you are! Do you make the rules here?

SG90 is entitled to his opinion too and he has expressed his doubts about the need for this thread. Whether or not you were slating Sacko mate, the thread title seems to have been read as critical and even confrontational and, because he played around just 10 minutes (and was, admittedly, awful) it's quite a touchy subject. SG90 of course doesn't make up the rules here but he is a valued contributor who helps the forum keep ticking away.

I myself wonder about these things too with many players and some people on here have answered that question perfectly,but you have taken it,perhaps because of the dire performances from him,that Victors having a dig.He could've asked 'How does a player get a release clause written into his contract?'

But he rightly chose this particular £60m one,as the perfect example .

I think we're all probably guilty of misinterpreting posts on here and possibly overreacting too, keeping it open has at least given people a chance to try and clarify their stance. Not even the mods & admin agree on most things so there's virtually no chance of anything conspiratorial going on, I can assure everyone of that.
