20 years today

Post by NottinghamWhite »

It's 20 years to the day that my all time played passed away, Billy Bremner. To me as I never saw JC play the greatest player of my generation. Captain Fantastic.

Just by good luck I was down at ER today to help one of Waccoe's mods lay down a wreath for Billy at his statue. We then went to see the mural as a special request. Afterwards we happened to meet Eddie Gray and had a chat with him, he was very busy but he's never too busy for us the fans, what a special fella he is. He had a photo taken with Mark from Waccoe in front of the statue next to the King Billy flower display :)

Thanks for that Pock.

A fitting tribute to King Billy, had me in tears as well even though I have seen it a few times.
