The 2nd String

Post by Doc333 »

We have all been disapointed with players like Grot who showed fantastic skills back home in Holland a massive prospect, Cibicki a player who scored for fun but a brillinat prospective world beating winger. They have so far been failures as not ready for the first team. So more U23 players to an already bloated forward line with the kids.

Ousim Bhoy another supposedly brilliant prospect, was brought in and immediatley sent out on loan to our sister club. But Bhoy didnt like it or they didnt like him? He decided to do a runner, yhen went back and did a runner again. He actually played around 90 minutes in total, then he ran back to Leeds in December. So whats happening with him especially when we were down to bare bones theough injury and suspensions, but is he good enough or ....

Idaguci bought, sent out but dont think hes played a full game yet and he is supposed to be the best player in Japan, the first name on the Japanese team sheet for the World Cup. I get it that if he has a good WC his value will be huge, but FFS why isnt he playing, isnt the sister club deal proving to be a sham, either that or our players arent good enough to play in Spanish 3rd tier footy

Generally, once a player is on loan till the end of the season, you can't just recall them.
With most of these season-long contracts, the only time you can do that is during the January window so even if we wanted to we wouldn't have been able to call the clubs and ask them to send the kids back ...

It was also agreed that Idaguci would be loaned out for the season as we weren't expecting to be able to get a work permit for this season. We didn't want to go back on the deal and not loan him out due to our partnership with Cultural Leonesa. Why he isn't playing I have no idea.

Ousim Bhoy came back even though he was on loan, no sanction from the club, nothing said. he was played in the U23s last week too so that means we have 9 U23s CBs? you would think a contracts been broken but nothing said. Phil Hay asked PH at last weeks presser about Bhoy and he said he had seen him, spoken to him and watched him in training. He wouldn't commit to anything else?

Maybe if both clubs agree they can annul the contract ??
I don't think there's anything sinister going on with any of this.

It's just the new boss has enough to do assessing the squad he has in front of him so he's probably relying on the club staff to report on those not in that group for the moment.
