Hopefully Bielsa can get to work on him and improve him as a player. He must’ve seen something, or he wouldn’t be coming back.

Well that's a very disappointing final day with no players coming in

Of the many we were linked with, they either haven't moved or have gone to other clubs

Seems like players still seem to be reluctant to come to Leeds

Is it something the management are doing wrong?

If you're not sure, apparently free agents can still be signed, along with loan deals, until 31st August

We can still get players in on loan up until August 31st, don’t panic just yet...

That assumes we were actually after the players in the first place, I always reckon only a small minority of rumours (between 15 and 25%) have any truth in them.

The club are losing money and have to sell to buy, so it's not really a case of the management doing something wrong. Most of the players not required by Bielsa have no value in the transfer market, so their hands are tied and they're having to turn to loan players. There's nothing wrong with that if the loanees are youngsters from top Premier League clubs, such as those that they have brought in so far.

Give me where we are no compared to 3 - 4 years ago. In some eyes we've moved on leaps and bounds, in some we have only move on a tad BUT we're still moving on !

No argument about that at all. We were used to getting in other Team's cast offs and short term loans - basically scraped the barrel year after year. Remember the Ken Bates years?

We have spent money all right and wasted some of it as well with ill advised purchases but overall I absolutely agree about moving forward and hopefully upward. It does take time and we dream of a perfect storm. :P

We do appear to be losing money but the financial side of football baffles me. I am sure brighter folk than me can offer up explanations. I look at Villa who were apparently in dire straits due to financial fair play literally a few weeks ago and yet here they are with new investors and throwing money about with gay abandon again.

I had a bit of fun this morning about our Transfer Window or lack of it and apologise if it upset anyone but if we can't laugh about things we'd be even bigger basket cases than we already are! :)

maybe we are till paying the abundance of managers off
if millwall and Brentford can bat off 6 mil offers on there paltry attendances.
I don't get it, :?
but I,m not abreast of the financial situation.
