Is Marco Bielsa the man to take us back to The Premiership ?

That's exactly how I feel. The EFL is such a competitive league that I feel we need someone who knows about it & how it works. The guy is highly acclaimed by top managers but at 61 is he going to be up for the challenge ?Sniffer wrote:Hopefully he's the new Messiah, but ...

I am in the "Not Sure" camp.
The Championship presents such a challenge to anyone and more so for those that have no experience of it and the type of players needed. There are exceptions of course. Wolves last season and the Dog Botherers before that. The honest truth is that I really don't know.
It is easier to say who I absolutely would object to!

I too have my doubts, I read somewhere he speaks no English is that a barrier ? I would really like to say I'll trust Radrizzani on his decision hut his track record since he took over the club isn't really that good. I think I'm like everyone else I just want stability at the club whether Biesla is the man to deliver that is another question.

There's a lot to consider here. He certainly has the experience but not that of the Championship. Could he work under Orta? I've read a few atricles and he very much sounds like he wants to be the man who calls all the shots. Would he want to draw up his own list of players he wants or would he be happy with Orta doing that for him? Apparently his English is very limited, that's a problem for me. This hiring and firing is becoming ridiculous and they need to put a stop to this and allow the next manager time. The players aren't good enough for a promotion push, we're IMO, 5 or 6 quality players away from being able to have a crack at promotion. I want stability first rather than this talk of getting to the Prem next year. Given his last few jobs which haven't seen him spend more than a season there suggests that if he were to come to Leeds and he doesn't make progress then he will sacked at some point next season. I'm on the fence on this one.

Last year he resigned as head coach at Lazio after just 2 days in charge. And the season before he walked out of Marseille after the first game of his second season. Is he related to Cellino
